KSR-2 self-regulating heating cables are one of the components of the snow and ice protection system for concrete, reinforced concrete and metal structures. Designed and approved for laying directly into concrete, KSR cables withstand all possible loads that occur during laying. The output power of the self-regulating KSR cables varies depending on the temperature of the concrete. When the concrete temperature is equal to or below the freezing point, KSR cables will have maximum thermal power. As soon as the concrete heats up, the thermal power of the cable will decrease. Energy efficiency is achieved without the use of monitoring devices. KSR cables are designed for use in ordinary (unclassified) areas and are certified according to the standard, ATEX and TRTS for use in explosive areas of Category 2 and 3 (Zone 1 and 2).

Simplicity of design and installation - determining the location of the KSR cable contour for protection from snow and ice is quite simple. The ability to cut the cable in arbitrary lengths allows you to make the necessary changes during installation. This reduces or eliminates the need to adjust the project and increases the efficiency of installation. Installation and final sealing of the cable is simple. Unwind the required amount of heating cable and install it using the mounting accessories. Kits for power connection and final sealing, insulation protection kits are made specifically for this application.
